Leadership
Tavisi Minerals is guided by leadership focused on disciplined growth, responsible business practices and the development of long-term opportunities across the minerals and resources sector.
Tasneem brings more than 30 years of diverse business and entrepreneurial experience spanning banking, retail, wholesale, international sourcing and property. Her career includes experience with First National Bank, retail management, the establishment and management of her own businesses, and involvement in a family pharmaceutical wholesale business. She later expanded into international sourcing and importing before establishing a career in real estate, where she works across residential and commercial property as a professional property practitioner. At TAVISI Minerals, Tasneem contributes her extensive business experience, commercial perspective and relationship-building capabilities to support the company's strategic development and long-term growth.
Gayathri brings a strong finance and accounting background with experience across financial reporting, statutory audit, taxation, compliance and financial controls. Her career spans accounting and advisory work across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, IT and professional services. She has experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reviews, audit readiness, cash-flow and account reconciliations, and supporting businesses in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records. At TAVISI Minerals, Gayathri contributes to financial oversight, governance and administration, supporting the development of sound internal structures and responsible business growth.
Executive Management
Our executive management team brings together commercial, technical, operational, logistics and financial expertise to support the development and long-term growth of TAVISI Minerals.
Sushovan brings over 17 years of experience across minerals export, plant operations, strategic HR and business operations, with international exposure spanning South Africa, Oman, the UAE and India. His experience includes chrome plant lifecycle management, business development, talent strategy and organisational development. Prior to joining TAVISI Minerals as Chief Executive Officer, he served as Vice President at HHRPL, Singapore, and held roles with Rohit Ferro-Tech, Dabur International and International Gas. He holds an MBA in International Business and a B.Com (Hons), with additional training in SAP SuccessFactors and Six Sigma.
Biswadarshi is a qualified Chartered Accountant in India with over 15 years of professional experience in accounting, finance and financial advisory services. Over the course of his career, he has developed and managed a diverse client base across India, with additional professional engagements in South Africa. At TAVISI Minerals, he provides financial leadership and oversight, supporting financial planning, controls, reporting, compliance and commercially disciplined decision-making as the business develops.
Vijay brings over 15 years of experience across engineering, industrial operations, project execution and organisational administration. His career includes extensive experience with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), where he has worked across power plant engineering, technical infrastructure, facility operations, procurement, contract management and vendor governance. Earlier in his career, he gained hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and thermal power plant operations. His multidisciplinary background combines technical and operational expertise with strong capabilities in cost optimisation, stakeholder management, compliance and cross-functional leadership. Vijay holds a B.Tech in Power Plant Engineering with Mechanical specialisation and an MBA in HR & Finance.
Amit brings over 19 years of experience across minerals trading, business development, operations, export-import and contract management, with professional experience spanning South Africa, India and Nepal. His background includes mineral sourcing, contract negotiation, international client relations and the management of supplier and buyer relationships. He has held senior roles across mineral trading and operations, including CEO / Operations & Marketing Executive at Zanaco Minerals and previous positions within minerals businesses in South Africa and India. At TAVISI Minerals, he brings extensive commercial and operational knowledge of the minerals value chain.
Arindam brings over 12 years of experience in exports, port operations, logistics and transportation across mining and international commodity trade. His expertise spans end-to-end supply chain operations, including material transportation, port and warehouse operations, cargo handling, export documentation, customs coordination, shipment planning, and vessel and container operations. He has extensive experience coordinating with suppliers, clients, transporters, inspection agencies and port service providers. At TAVISI Minerals, he focuses on ensuring the efficient, timely and cost-effective movement of commodities from source to destination while maintaining strong operational control and service standards.
